Orion started at Spectrum Center 3 years ago as an elementary school student, in our Academic Skills classroom learning environment. He was faced with some challenging behavioral issues and needed the extra support of a non-public school. During Orion’s journey with us, he struggled with problem-solving, managing his behavior, and social-emotional challenges. Over the course of time, Orion started to improve his behavior and became more academically inclined. He was very motivated by the Point and Level system Spectrum uses, and working with his therapist 1:1 on his social-emotional goals. Orion has achieved behavioral and academic greatness. He is motivated and eager to start his high school journey and motivated to go to college to be a robotic engineer.
Orion has made it successfully through our program, and we are proud to say he is now an 8th-grade graduating student!
Orion has achieved behavioral and academic greatness. He is motivated and eager to start his high school journey and motivated to go to college to be a robotic engineer. Some of the activities that Orion really enjoyed on our campus were assemblies including the spelling bee, a talent show, and monthly perfect attendance. Orion had excellent attendance and received perfect attendance almost every month. During the summer Orion greatly enjoyed field trips and physical education at the beach. These activities really contributed to Orion’s daily motivation to do well and work towards his goals. We are very proud of Orion’s success!
