Catherine Lindsey

Masters in Education, M.Ed

Catherine Lindsey is Program Director for the Spectrum Center Valley campus located in Concord, CA. This summer marks her 25th anniversary with Spectrum.

For all 25 years with Spectrum, Catherine has worked at Valley campus. She has served in the role of Administrative Assistant, Site Manager, Administrative Coordinator, Assistant Director- during which she earned a master’s degree in Special Education and was promoted in 2009 to her current role of Program Director.

Catherine’s passion is working with and developing talented individuals who work collaboratively to provide a quality educational environment; including utilization of Evidenced Based curricula and Applied Behavior Analysis as best practice for the benefit the students we serve. Equally important is the continuation of a reinforcing work environment dedicated to the principles of Servant Leadership – she wants everyone to enjoy being at Valley!

Catherine continues to be energized by the work we do – and is always amazed at the potential of our students and the progress they continue to make in the areas of skill acquisition and behavior reduction. She is proud of the many student successes we’ve had over the years, fostered by a partnership between our dedicated instructors, parents, and districts – and is happy when parents share with us how pleased they are with their child’s progress during IEP meetings.

When not at work, Catherine enjoys hanging out at Point Reyes with her husband and visiting with her adult children and her eleven grandchildren.
