Program Director Spotlight

Dr. Kevin Cobb, EdD

Dr. Kevin Cobb has worked in the field of social services and education for the past 12 years and an administrator for the past three years.  For much of his career, Dr. Cobb’s experience has been working with young people in the foster care system and in out-of-home placements such as group homes and other congregate care facilities. During his time working with these populations, he has gained diverse opportunities to build his knowledge of student learning, teaching, and supporting both students and teachers alike.   

Dr. Cobb’s professional experience includes working with both elementary and high school level students, and he has had the distinct opportunity to teach adult learners as well. The main thing that excites him about being able to work with our students is getting the opportunity to be a part of the everyday learning process. Seeing how students engage with their teacher and peers, having the opportunity to identify challenging areas for students and helping to find a solution to their educational barriers, and being able to be additional support for the faculty and staff on a daily basis, brings him the greatest joy.
